Robtek - Deal Announcement

New Seasons Investment Management, a majority black owned private equity fund manager, recently concluded its first investment under New Seasons Investment Fund II (“Fund II”). Fund II, being the third fund under management, was launched in September 2025. The Fund is targeting medium sized industrial and mining service companies based in South Africa.

The Fund’s first investment, Robtek, is a niche onsite mechanical services company. Founded in 1984, the company provides best of breed artisan services to processing plants in the mining, cement and manufacturing industries in South Africa and the Rest of Africa. Robtek provides a full turnkey solution which includes the installation of mill and kiln plants, refurbishment, repair, maintenance, and alignment of these plants.

The mining sector is a key pillar of the South African economy. Notwithstanding sector uncertainties, we look to the future with confidence. There is a growing demand for improved operations and productivity, higher safety standards and cost efficiencies in mining and related industrial sectors. Robtek, with over 40 years’ experience, is leveraging off its proven execution capabilities and is broadening its service proposition to capitalise on these opportunities.
